Creating An Inimitable Affair

The theme is 花好月圆 which translates to a night with blooming flowers and a bright full moon, meaning all is good, beautiful, and well. This Chinese idiom is wished upon on newlyweds. On a more personal level, the bride loves flowers and was proposed to under a bright moon in Naoshima, Japan. Everything was kept to a natural palate of rice white, jade green, imperial green, natural wood.

The bride wanted to create a cloud of flowers under the sacred ancient 1200-year-old Camphor Tree where they will exchange their vows. Next to the ancient tree is the ancient well with the words 日月共同 inscribed on it, which translates to being together for the rest of time. The first thing the couple did as husband and wife was to take the water from the ancient well and water the ancient tree, to give life back and continue the cycle of life after they have received the blessings.
